Our Trip To Tesson Heights Nursing Home

First grade walked to Tesson Heights to visit the residents for Valentine's Day. We delivered cards, placemats, candy, and lots of smiles!

Money, Money, Money

Start counting your change to a dollar! We are practicing recognizing our coins and their value.
We made wallets to hold our paper coins, created a bank in our classroom, and made some shopping books with price tags.

We are making partner books. We chose a partner and decided on a topic for our book. Next, we decided who would be the illustrator and who would be the author of our book. We are having so much fun working together, sharing ideas, and using our strengths to make a great book.
