Going to the Zoo

We had s great time at the Zoo. We saw a salamander, snake and a hawk in the habitats class. We explored animals, ate lunch in the Living World and reflected on our trip when we returned to Kennerly. Thanks to all of the parents that volunteered to help.

Welcome Miss Fasterling

Welcome Miss Fasterling, "Miss F," our student teacher from Webster University.
She will be working in our classroom for the next 8 weeks. We are so excited to have her at Kennerly.

St. Baldricks and Crazy Hair Day

Come out to the basketball game at Lindbergh High School tonight and watch two of our friends, Hunter Wedel and Nicole Thomas, in the hula hoop contest. Wear your crazy hair or dare to get your head shaved to support kids with cancer.

Mo Willems

We wrote letters to one of our favorite authors, Mo Willems, and today he wrote back to us!
We were so excited to receive a special letter and poster signed by Mo!
We also sent a copy of Gracie Stetzel's book, "Don't Let the Pigeon Get Married."
Mr. Willems said he loved her book and he kept the copy...maybe he'll use it for a book idea!
